Tish Banks is a Grant Reader for The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio!

Today, Tish Banks served as a Grant Reader at the Community Grant Review of The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio (WFCO). WFCO gathered 300+ grant readers at the Columbus Metropolitan Library to discuss and score 65 grant applicants requesting $1M+ in funds to support programming focused on women and girls (especially women and girls of color).

As an educated Black, single mother raised in Columbus, Ohio, she felt empowered and affirmed while sharing her lived experiences among an ethnically diverse group of women.

Special-Outs from Tish:

Thank you to COPLTI Executive Director, Karla Poole, for informing me about this opportunity through our alumni network.

Thank you to the Women’s Fund of Central Ohio for a seat at the table.

Thank you to the members of Group 5 for sharing your insight and lived experiences with all of us. I am looking forward to staying connected.

She is looking forward to next year.
